He graduated from All Hallows High School in New York City, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Fordham University.
Daniel was a commodity trader/broker with Prudential-Bache and Dean Witter Reynolds.
As a young boy, he was a child model in New York City.
He served as an altar boy at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. He served as chairman on the Springfield, VT School Board and was very community-minded. He also was a landlord in Springfield, VT.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Lynn Gray; son Daniel P. Gray and his wife Maria, daughter Kelly Maureen Gray Hosey and her husband Neil, son James Colon; grandchildren Connor Gray, Grace Hosey and Mary Kate Hosey; and his siblings, William, Kevin and Kathleen Gray.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Springfield, Vermont.
