Harriet was born Jan. 16, 1941, in Morris, a daughter of Harrold and Margret (Mickleson) Hann. She married Eldon Ness on Feb. 21, 1961, in Pontiac.
Survivors include her husband, Eldon Ness, Pontiac; three sons, Allan Ness, Inverness, Fla.; and Kenneth Ness and Thomas “Hank” Ness, both of Pontiac; four daughters, Marsha Weinger, Anchorage, Alaska; and Candace Raby, JoAnne Ness and Julie Murray, all of Pontiac. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Gaylon Hann, Tucson, Ariz.; and one sister, Shirley Stone, Joliet.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Hann; and one brother and one sister in infancy.
Harriet was educated in Sheridan and Lisbon schools. Harriet was a homemaker, and was a member of the Lutheran Church in Lisbon.
