Rachel Bell Elliott, age 77, of Marietta passed away August 25, 2017. Rachel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was retired as an administrative assistant for the Air Commander in Chief at Dobbins Air Force Base. She was also a gifted piano player and vocalist and played piano for St. Stephen United Methodist Church for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years George E. Elliott of Marietta; daughter and son in law Kim and Mike England of Aiken SC; son Ed Elliott of Rockmart; son and daughter in law Anthony and Tammy Elliott of Marietta; sister Virginia Holder of Ellijay; grandchildren Christopher Elliott of Holly Springs, Anthony England of Frisco, TX and Steven England of Aiken, SC; great grandchildren Birdie England, Alexa Elliott and Iasbella Elliott; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held in the chapel of Medford-Peden Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Elliott officiating. Entombment was in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.
