Ola Maude Wilson was the seventh child born to the late Odie M. and Clara McClain Oswalt, January 14, 1927. She passed away on August 22, 2017.
Visitation will be at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, Mississippi from 5:30 until 8:30 PM, Friday, August 25th. The funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 26th. at Sturgis Baptist Church in Sturgis, Ms. with Brother Russell Mord officiating. Interment will follow in the Sturgis Cemetery.
Ola Maude was a graduate of Sturgis High School and attended Mississippi State University. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was an active member of the Sturgis Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Steven Wilson and his wife Cynthia of Eupora, Ms., grandsons Robert Dell Wilson (Delfi) of Kansas City, Kansas, Steven John Wilson (Rena) of Sturgis, Ms., great grandchildren Ricky Anthony Wilson, Destiny Jeanette Wilson and Delta Rhea Wilson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dell Wilson, her parents, four brothers, Archie, Jack, Ovid and Quay Oswalt, five sisters, Neola, Jeanette Ivy, Angie Long, Quilla Jackson, and niece Vicki Lynn McGinnis.
Memorials may be made to Sturgis Baptist Church and Sturgis Cemetery.
