Gladys M. McCoy, of Wellington, Kansas, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Botkin Care and Rehab in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 94.
Gladys was born the daughter of John J. and Cherity (Howard) Williams on Wednesday, December 13, 1922 in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
On February 15, 1939, Gladys and Ira McCoy were united in marriage. Together they celebrated 49 years of marriage before his death in 1988.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Kelley and her husband Mike of Wellington, Kansas, grandchildren: Scott Percival and his wife Amber of Wichita, Kansas and Lori Robinson and her husband Jay of Wellington, Kansas; great-grandchildren: Zachary Percival, Jordyn Clark and her husband Danny, Taryn Bulger and her husband Ryan and Devin Robinson and his wife Hannah; great-great-grandchildren: Anthony Percival, Kayden Clark, Kolton Clark, Aubree Robinson, Evelynn Robinson, Wesley Bulger, Calvin Bulger and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ira Mccoy; brother, Sonny Williams and sister, Zola Dusher.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services for Gladys will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Church of Christ in Wellington, Kansas.
Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, Wellington, Kansas.
