Carolyn Rae (Long) Turley 2/2/1938 - 3/3/2007 Carolyn was born and raised in Ogden, UT. In 1966 she made her home Washington. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Henry Long and Belva Rae Foulger Long and her grandson, Matthew Scott Turley. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Gerald Turley, Puyallup; children, Rich (Karla), Federal Way; Scott (Terri), Ridgefield, CT; Mark (Rebecca) Sandy, UT; Cyndi Baker (Jack), Milton; Vicki Jenkins (Paul), Orem, UT; Michelle Nielson (Jerry), West Jordan, UT; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Frank Long (Sonja), Bountiful, UT; Lynnette Shaw (Bill), Centerville, UT; and Lorraine Andersen (Steve), Edmonds, WA. Carolyn worked at Boeing for 15 years. Throughout her life she was an avid reader, enjoyed scrap booking and was a Creative Memories Consultant. She was an Area Representative for the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Carolyn had serious health difficulties in the past few years and we want to thank the staff of Puyallup Regency for her care in the last year and a half. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 7th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Funeral Alternatives of Washington, 1410 Main St., Sumner, (253) 863-2800. A Viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., both at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 13420 94th Ave. E. Puyallup.
