Alton Hopkins, 73, of Grubbs died Monday, August 28, 2017 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born October 18, 1943 at Grubbs, the son of Emma Jean Hopkins-Keller and step-father; Clovis (Bo) Keller. Alton loved old cars, reading, going dancing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, and son-in-law; Todd Owen.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years; Lois Hopkins of the home, his daughter; Allison Renee Owen and grandchildren; Alysha and Andrew of Ridgecrest, CA, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Ballews Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017.
