Donald Edward "Donnie" Lehman, age 54, of Frankton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on May 27, 1963, in Anderson, to Phillip and Deborah (Banker) Lehman.
Donnie was a 1981 graduate of Frankton High School. He retired in 2017 from Chrysler Corp. in Kokomo, where he had worked for more than 17 years as millwright.
He was a member of the United Auto Workers union. Donnie enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He liked to keep busy and was always working on a project. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Donnie is survived by his grandmother, Lucile Banker of Frankton; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Lehman; father, Phillip Lehman; brother, Jimmy Calloway; maternal grandfather, James Banker; and paternal grandparents, Darwin and Ethel Lehman.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton with the Rev. Roger Brooks officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society.
