John Wrixon Becher was the high sheriff of County Cork, Ireland, in 1867. He married Lady Emily Catherine Hare on May 6, 1857. Emily was the daughter of William Hare, 2nd Earl of Listowel.

The couple had at least three sons: Eustace William Windham (b. 1859), who married Constance Gough, daughter of Lord Calthorpe, Edgar (b. 1862) and Sir John Wrixon Becher. They also had one daughter, Victoria E. Becher.

Sir Eustace William Windham Becher, became fourth Baronet in 1914, and was succeeded in 1934 by his eldest son, Sir William Fane Becher, fifth Baronet.
