OBITUARY:

Violo Fern Shake

Services for Mrs. Violo Fern Shake, 72, Sandborn, who died at 7:55 a.m. Thursday at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sandborn United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Fehrman officiating. Burial will be in Sandborn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home from 3 p.m. today to 12 noon Saturday, when the body will be removed to the church.

She was a member of Sandborn United Methodist Church, Sandborn Women's Club, Sandburn OES, Chapter 497 and the Home and Community Circle Club.

Surviving are the husband, Sherman; three sons, Doyle and Bert, both of Sandborn, and Harry, Linton; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Davidson, Bloomfield, and Mrs. Ruth Jane O'Dell, Mooresville; two brothers, Oscar Watt, Bloomfield, and Arthur Watt, Carlisle; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Mayfield, Ridgeway, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
