Clata Perkins, age 75 years, 5 months, and 10 days, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Burlington House in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. William Kilby officiating, Burial was in the Pleasant Run Cemetery.
She was born March 16, 1942 in Elk Valley, Tennessee, Clata was a Pharmacy Technician and also was a server. She was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church in Norwood, Ohio. Clata found pleasure in reading her bible, sewing, gardening, working and she also enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Ollie Thurman Douglas, her husband, Benny Perkins, whom she married December 28, 1963, a son, Todd Perkins, a daughter, Tona Perkins Troxell, a brother, Bobby Baird, a grandson, Stephen Troxell, and a great grand-daughter, MacKenzie Leanne Troxell.
Survivors include a son, Tim Perkins, and his wife Kathy, of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter-in-law, Chrissy Perkins, of Cincinnati, Ohio, son-in-law, Dennis Troxell, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, her step-father, Raymond Douglas, of Dundee, Michigan, three brothers, Donald Douglas, and his wife, Rochelle, of Dundee, Michigan, Bruce Douglas, and his wife, Irene, of Toledo, Ohio, Jimmy Baird, and his wife, Suzanne, of Carrolton, Kentucky, four sisters, Sue Woodson, and her husband, William, of Sparta, Tennessee, Connie Cochran of Temperance, Michigan, Barbara Komioes of Toledo, Ohio and Karen Jones, and her husband, Ed, of Cincinnati, Ohio, six grandchildren, Benjamin Troxell, Tyler and Michael Perkins, and Haley, Maggie and Grace Perkins, and three great grand-children, Landon and Wyatt Perkins, and Cora Troxell.
