Mrs. Brown was cremated under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.

Jeanne Valerie Dennison: Was born on November 1st 1940 in Taunton Massachusetts to Dorothy and Austin Dennison. She was the third of three children, being preceded by James and Alberta respectively.
Jean was raised and educated in Taunton, and graduated at the age of 17. Jeanne was quite an accomplished musician; she played in one of the Massachusetts State Orchestras as First Chair in the Violin section, and was accepted to Julliard for Violin and Piano after graduation. Instead she chose to marry her high school sweetheart, Howard Brown, and start a family. Jeanne raised 5 children while attending college, teaching music at a private school for a short time, working as a choir director and giving music lessons at home. She was a professional musician and played in several bands over a 30 year period, three of them with Howard, and temporarily substituting in others playing the Drums, the Bass Guitar, and singing.
Jeanne battled health problems her whole life, inheriting Diabetes from her mother and heart problems from her father. Even with these problems she was still very active in school and church functions. When Howard retired from the Marine Base, he and Jeanne packed up and moved to Houston Missouri, along with Bill and his family, Eric, Brion and his son Ryon. She truly loved it here in the Ozarks, and enjoyed fishing in their pond, gardening and spending time with family.
In the last 15 years she has loved watching her Grandchildren grow up and bring Great Grandchildren into the world. She went to every Birthday, and holiday event that she could to see her prodigy and loved to make gifts for them for Christmas.
Jeanne passed away on August 28th from heart failure. She is survived by Howard Brown, her husband of 58 years, and her 5 children and their spouses; Clayton Brown and his wife Darla of Licking Missouri, Dawn Ward and her husband Larry of Houston Missouri, Eric Brown of Yukon Missouri, Brion Brown of Reno Nevada, and Bill Brown and his wife Pam of Houston Missouri, and several Grand Children and Great Grand Children in Missouri, Texas and California. Jeanne was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Dorothy and Austin Dennison, her Brother Austin James Dennison and her sister Alberta Bento.
