Christine “Teen” Thomas Morgan, 97, of Ringgold went home to be with the Lord on Monday August 28, 2017.

She was life-long resident of the Chattanooga area and the oldest living member of the Fort Oglethorpe First Baptist Church. She had worked at Russell Stover’s Candy for many years and was a volunteer at the Catoosa County Colonnade. She enjoyed reading, needle work, and watching the Atlanta Braves.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, E.A. Morgan and her sister Claire Albee.

Survivors are her loving daughters Linda (Leon) Merriman of Ringgold and Barbara Breneman (Tim Smith) of North Chattanooga; sisters, Marie Holder and Jenny Askew; grandchildren, Angela Merriman, Jamie Breneman and Brande Breneman; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jason Thomas officiating. Interment in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
