William K. “Will” Keener, age 58, of Toledo, passed away at home on Monday, August 28, 2017. He was born on April 1, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Holt and Mary (Wilson) Keener Sr. Will was a graduate of Whitmer High School. He was previously employed as an asphalt paver. He enjoyed good conversation and playing Keno, and was known to feed the neighborhood squirrels. A loving son, brother, uncle and friend, he was especially fond of his great-nieces and nephew, Aleceia, Gracie, and Max.

Will is survived by his mother, Mary Keener; son, William H. Keener; sisters, Cathy (Allen) Painter, Diane (James) Whetsel, and Jennifer Williams; brother, Handley (Abby) Keener; and nieces and nephews. His father Holt Keener Sr. preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home followed by interment in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial tributes may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
