Crystal Azizia Johnson Cranford, 36, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, in the arms of her husband and father.

She was a graduate of Brainerd High School, Chattanooga State Community College; and received her BA degree in Social Work at the University of Tennessee. Crystal was previously employed by The Chamberlains Children Shelter, Fortwood Mental Health Center and Joseph Johnson Mental Health Center. She was a former member of Second Missionary Baptist Church and presently a member of Olivet Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Brewer Sr., Marion Swoope, Ernest Johnson Sr., and Marion Johnson; uncle, Ernest Johnson Jr.

Survivors: her devoted husband, Kacy Cranford; daughters, Kiya and Caylan Cranford; parents, Terrell and Lafreda Johnson Sr.; brothers, Corey Fletcher and Terrell Johnson Jr.; sister, Rainey Johnson-(Eric) Roberson; mother-in-law, Linda Cranford and father-in-law, Reginald Cranford; brothers-in-law, Reggie and Shaw Cranford; uncles, Alfred Swoope, James Brewer Jr., and Christopher Johnson; aunts, Pamela Bone, Judy Sherrer, Leona Brewer, Victoria Suttles, and Leattrice (Nathaniel) Strickland; a very dedicated cousin, Tennille Crutcher; longtime friends, Darniqua Calloway and Jill Womble; several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins and close friends.

Visitation is Saturday at 11 a.m. at Olivet Baptist Church with the funeral to follow at noon with Rev. Paul A. McDaniel Sr. as the eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
