Judy Darlene Gaines, 55, of McAlester, Oklahoma, died at 6:24 PM, Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at McAlester Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of cremation arrangements.
Judy was born September 21, 1961, in Paris to Lloyd Elton and Odessa Hignight Asher. She married Gerry Gaines on May 8, 1977. He died October 27, 2009.
Mrs. Gaines was a homemaker and member of the Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Adisha Gaines and Jimmy Lawrence of McAlester; two grandchildren, Gary Kyle Fennell and Mckenize Jade Fennell of Valliant, Oklahoma; three siblings, Tim Asher, Verna Vann, both of Idabel, and Gary Moore of Mount Vernon, Texas; and her nephew, Edward Vann of Idabel. She was preceded in death by her parents.
