She grew up in Virginia Beach and spent most of her adult life in the building industry. The last 10 years of her employment, she worked at Balance Builders with her two favorite bosses Paul and Jeff Wallace.
Ann never met a stranger. She was kind, funny, always had a smile, and was always late! Recently, she spent most of her time with her new buddy, Mason, who lovingly called her "Anna." She loved her entire family and lit up the room everywhere she went.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Michael Richard Butler (Jess & Mason), two sisters Rose S. Mailhes (Al), Margaret S. Garner (Jimmy), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & a multitude of special friends
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday August 30, 2017 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd Chapel. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, 740 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Online condolences may be made to the family at hdoliver.com.
