SHREVEPORT -- Services for Mrs. Beatrice Crain Eason, 87, of Shreveport, will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 29 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. The Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor Emmanuel Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Alvin Oney, pastor of Linwood Baptist Church. Burial: Forest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Eason, a resident of Shreveport for 48 years, died Wednesday July 27, 1988, at Virginia Hall Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Era, Miller County, Ark. Mrs. Eason was a member of Linwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Eason of Shreveport; a son, Earnest Crain, Jr. of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Ruby Frantom of Vivian, La. and Dorothy Mullins of Shreveport; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and Bill Tucker.
