He was born June 1, 1956, in Lincoln, the son of Walter F. and Charlene Parks Georgi.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Charlene and Harold C. F. Jeckel, Lincoln; two sisters, Michelle Georgi, Lincoln, and Sarah Jeckel, Springfield; one brother, David Jeckel, Lincoln; and his maternal grandmother, Marie Parks, Lincoln. His father preceded him in death.
Mr. Georgi had been employed as a photographer and pharmacist in Aspen and Denver, Colo. and currently as a pharmacist at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and St. Louis College of Pharmacy and attended Illinois Wesleyan University, where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Mr. Georgi was a Lutheran. He was an avid outdoorsman and a former member of the Lincoln Jaycees.
