Thomas Allen Petty, age 74, of Portland passed away August 27, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Sumner County on February 7, 1943 to the late Gar and Birdie Petty.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Petty, daughters, Brenda and Glenda Petty, and grandson, Michael Petty.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Petty of Portland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Roberts officiating.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. till 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, and 9 a.m. till funeral time at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery
