Born November 23, 1962 in Terre Haute, IN she was the daughter of Rick and Lavanda (Terry) Mikeworth. On November 10, 2006, she married Dion Wright and he survives. Monica worked for Hershey Candy Company in Robinson, IL on the Payday Line for 14 years. She was a member of the Ark of the Covenant Ministries; Bible Chapel Church, Robinson, IL and was Co-Minister and Co-Founder of the Ark of the Covenant Charity Soup Kitchen in Robinson, IL. Monica’s love for her savior Jesus, touched many lives.
Survivors include her husband, Dion Wright, Robinson, IL; mother, Lavanda Mikeworth, McKee, KY; a son, Matthew Watson, Stoy, IL; daughters Miranda Osborn, Oblong, IL, Stephanie Watson, Robinson, IL; two stepdaughters, Alisha and Tony Stephens, Oblong, IL, Marsha and Curt Bahr, Riley, IN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricki and Joey Mikeworth, Rancho-Cordova, CA, Thomas and Sofya Mikeworth, Mt. Vernon, KY Tammy Wright, Robinson, IL; sister and brother-in-law, Renee’ and Tom Morrison, Bloomington, IL, uncle, David Terry, Stickney, IL as well as numerous other aunts and uncles and eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her father, Rick Mikeworth; grandparents, Mary and Harold Mikeworth and Venious and Luke Terry; a daughter, Melissa Mikeworth, September 29, 1988 and in-laws, Don and Pat Wright.
The funeral service will be Saturday August 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL, with Pastors Rick and Ruth Ramey officiating. Visitation will be Saturday August 26, 2017 from 11:00 Am until time of service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock, IL.
