My beloved wife Cheryl Johnson Adams passed away on August 22, 2017. I never knew a person that could love nor be loved as she did. A lovely woman in mind, heart, and spirit has left a void in all that knew her that will only be filled when we meet again. I was her knight in shining armor and she was my little angel. The short time we had together was filled with "life" to which I am eternally grateful. We both knew we loved each other.
She was born September 20, 1966 to Reva & Vern Johnson in Payson, Utah. Cheryl grew up in Goshen, Utah and graduated from Payson High School.
On September 13, 1985 she married Todd R Day in Goshen and were blessed with 4 children: Brandon (Tyrie) Day, Evanston Wy. Ashley (Justin) Koyle, Nephi, Ut. Devun (Kercee) Day, Magna, Ut & Krystal (Bryson) Ashworth Nephi, Ut. Ten lovely grandchildren. They resided in Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi and Nephi Utah. They divorced in December 2012.
She lived in Eagle Mountain, Bountiful, and Kaysville, Utah. She married Craig L Adams on December 27, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada and they lived in Kaysville at the time of her death. She was employed by Centennial Management and enjoyed it very much.
Cheryl was a creative writer, artist, poet and craft maker. She was an avid doll collector. She loved music and dance and had a smile that lit up all around her.
She is survived by her mother, Reva Shoell, Payson Utah, siblings: Kendall (Debbie) Johnson, Mona, Utah, Eddie Johnson, Payson, Utah, Penny (Jeff) Kinross, Springville, Utah, Steven (Jody) Johnson, Elk Ridge, Utah, Todd (Hailey) Johnson, Eagle Mountain, Utah.
Cheryl was preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Johnson, stepfather Neil Shoell, grandparents Leonard and Lillian Steele. She felt a special bond with Lillian and I know their reunion would have been sweet to witness as ours will be someday.
