Dana Marie Lambert, 46, of Ocoee FL, departed this life on Friday August 11, 2017.
Dana was born on September 2, 1970 in Southfield, Michigan to Queen Esther Wilson Gray and Reg Hill. Dana graduated from Ferndale High School in 1988 where she was a star athlete in track, basketball and sat as first chair in Violin.
After graduation Dana attended Michigan Christian College for a year and at the age of 19 signed up for the United States Navy where she served 7 years as an Hospital Corpsman in Jacksonville FL, she later attended and graduated Valencia College at the top of her class with a nursing degree and worked at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dana also studied and graduated from the University of Central Florida as a Nurse Practitioner. She also served in the United States Navy and was honorable discharged.
Dana accepted Christ in her heart and was baptized at the age of 9 at Faith Baptist Church in Michigan. Dana was loved by so many and was a very loving and giving person to anyone that she came into contact with.
Dana leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 16 years, Cleveland Lambert; children, Christen Marie Carswell and Jeremiah Lambert; one granddaughter, Hailey Marie Holass. Her parents Queen Esther Wilson Gray, Reg Hill; 5 sisters: Gala Hogan (Kyle), Shannon Check (Steve), Karla Gray and Karmen Gray; 7 brothers, Quintin Arnold, Donald Arnold Jr. (Leja), Rance Arnold (Gina), Lorin Arnold (Sharonda), Woodrow Gray Jr. (Natasha), Randall Hill and Reginald Hill; 4 loving sister-in laws, Lydia Lambert Jones, Yolande John, Charmaine Lambert and Jessma Lambert. A special cousin/sister Sherry Mitchell and a host of niece, nephews, aunts, uncles and her very special group of friends MNM Sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017, 10:00 AM at Rejoice in the Lord Ministries, 8053 Gilliam Road, Apopka, with Pastor Roderick Zak, officiating. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
