NORTON – Caroline Mary Nicholson, 94, of Norton formerly of Attleboro, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Wingate at Norton. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Nicholson.
Born on January 26, 1923 in South Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Cathers) Carson.
Caroline grew up in South Attleboro and was a 1940 graduate of Attleboro High School. She was loving homemaker and enjoyed traveling, especially overseas. Caroline was a women of strong faith and longtime member of the Faith Alliance Church in Attleboro. She also was on the Christian Women’s Club.
Caroline is survived by her two sons, Robert K. Nicholson of Avon, MA and John A. Nicholson and his wife Jean of Bourne, MA; a daughter, Carole Jane Andrews and her husband Paul of North Attleboro; four granddaughters; Kimberly Houlihan of Bridgewater, MA, Lisa Ann Pedro of Rochester, MA, Elizabeth Betlejewski of Maryland and Hillary Andrews of North Attleboro; six great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late William Carson.
The Nicholson family will receive family and friends in the Faith Alliance Church, 833 Pleasant St., Attleboro. A funeral service will follow visitation in the Faith Alliance Church. Caroline will be laid to rest at the family plot in Hillside Cemetery, Attleboro MA.
