Marian E. (Nelson) White passed away August 18, 2017. She was born June 18, 1920, in Minneapolis, MN. She married Jack D. White, Sr. in Superior, WI, on November 20, 1941. Marian and Jack lived in several states before retiring in Springfield in 1981. She worked for the U.S. Government, Kansas City, MO, Midcontinent Library, and others. In later years she volunteered for the Multiple Sclerosis Aquatics Program, Springfield Counsel of Churches, and St. John's Hospital. She is survived by son Jack D. White, Jr., and wife Mary, son Robert J. White, and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Windsor Lake, Jack White, III, and wife Angie, Katie White, Victoria Wikiera, and husband Drew; great-grandchildren, Taylor James, Cali Camby, Alivia Camby, Henry Wikiera, and Vivian Wikiera. Other family includes Patricia Sullivan, and nephews, Larry Nelson, and wife Marge, Roger Nelson, Tom Nelson, and Bruce Nelson.
