Lena, 94, Lima, died at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was the daughter of Pietro and Maria (Sciortino) Madonia. On Aug 23, 1947, she married Robert C. Walker, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Larry, Bellefontaine; a brother, Frank (Carol), Lima; and a sister, Rosemary Pierce, Lima.

Deceased are a son and sister, both linked below; a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Walker; and a brother-in-law, Richard Pierce.

A 1940 graduate of St. Johns High School, she then attended Frederick Beauty Academy and eventually landed a job at The Leader Beauty Salon. In her later years she took a job with Fenmark where she worked in the office dealing with inventory control. She was a long time member of St. John's Catholic Church, where she donated her time in the choir, monthly breakfast committee, funeral luncheons and Altar-Rosary Society. She was also a life member of the VFW Post 1275. Her favorite hobbies included playing cards, gardening, camping and fishing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Church, with Rev. David Ross officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery following the service.
