Charlene Lee (Mace) Harris, 76, of Mechanicsville, Va., formerly of Elizabeth, W.Va., joined her late husband, Clyde Dewain Harris Sr., in eternity with the Lord, August 24, 2017. She was the beloved daughter of the late William “Jack” Mace and Emma Fern (Mason) Mace.

She is survived by her four children, Susan Harris Byers, Jackie Harris Johnson (Joseph), Sarah Harris Dunford (Adam) and Clyde Dewain Harris Jr. (Retta); her eight grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Katelyn), Miranda Robinson, Justin Johnson (Madison), Douglas Byers (Jessica), Natasha Harris, Sarah Harris, Jess Dunford, Clyde Harris III, as well as two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Johnson & Corbin Byers.

She will forever be remembered as the life of the party, gregarious, fearless and full of laughter. She was one that never knew a stranger; she loved the Lord, her husband and family. She was a wonderful & loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent her life serving the Lord and trying her hardest to win the lost to Christ. (So you better repent because Christ is coming soon) She was a member of Life Church in Mechanicsville, Va. and a child of the King of Kings.

Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 as well as Monday, August 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral starting at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Apostolic Church of Elizabeth, W.Va. with the Reverend Glen McBride and Reverend Tim Hopkins officiating.
