================================================================
Mary Kleophea Holzer-Walser,
Baptized in Amoltern/Rust, which is located near the Kaiserstuhl area, near the western edge of the Black Forest region, off the east bank of the Rhine River, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

She married Joseph Walser Jr in Schelingen, Baden (Germany) and they had 5 children. Her firstborn died in Schelingen and the family came to America in ~1852/53 to Shelby/Sharon Township, Ohio.

Death location: Sharon Twp, Richland County, OH.

Kleophea had a younger sister named Regina Holzer-Metzger (FAG # 18683143) who was born in Rust/Ettenheim Germany on 23-Aug 1811 and Regina married Simon Metzgar the first (FAG# 18683147) in Rust-1836. Simon & Regina show in 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, and 1890 Vernon & Sharon Twp., Crawford/Richland counties, Ohio-USA census records. Simon & Regina owned plots across from the Sacred Heart Church.

It was later found that Cleophia had an older sister named Otilia Metzger nee Holzer who also is interred at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. These Sacred Heart of Jesus Church book death records along with the headstone for Regina affirm that these three sisters are all interred at its cemetery.

It's very likely that the Metzger's sent positive letters back to Baden to Mary Kleophea and family encouraging them to come to America and live near them in Bethlehem, Ohio. ✞
