Church Point, LA Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 28, 2017 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Andrea “Tina” Miller, 59, the former Andrea Claire Bourgeois. Mrs. Miller, a native of rural St. Landry Parish near Lewisburg and long-time resident of Church Point, died Friday afternoon, August 25 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Pere David Rozas will conduct the services with interment following in the St. John Cemetery in Lewisburg. Survivors include her father and stepmother, Glen and Mary Bourgeois of Lewisburg; her husband, Dale Miller of Church Point; a daughter and son, Heather Miller Brasseaux and husband Zachary and Nick Andre Miller-all of Church Point; a sister, Carla Richard and husband Bobby of Lewisburg and seven grandchildren: Alexis Alleman, Anna, Alli and Andre Fontenot and Joseph, Jolie and Noah Miller. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Belle Bourgeois and a brother, Charles Keith Bourgeois. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM on Sunday, August 27 and continue from 8:00 AM Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 PM Sunday by Pere Rozas. Truly loved by family and friends, Mrs. Miller enjoyed fishing, camping and her time as a member of the 205 Tavern Pokeno Group.
