Earl Wayne Foster, 77, of Thida, departed this life Friday, August 25, 2017. He was born November 13, 1939, a son of the late John and Audrey (O'guin) Foster.
Earl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. He was of the Baptist Faith. Earl was a truck driver and saw mill worker all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Audrey (O'guin) Foster; his first wife, Billy Dean Foster; one step-son, Gary Allen; six brothers, Franklin Foster, Keith Foster, Richard Foster, Bobby Foster, Phillip Foster, and Terry Foster; and one sister, Betty Miller.
Left to cherish Earl's memory is his wife, Betty (Moss) Foster; three children, Cindy Page and husband Ronnie of Newport, Scotty Foster and wife Linda of Thida, and Tonya Louis of Newport; two step-sons, Daniel Moss and wife Kat of Newport, and Scott Allen and wife Mae Carol of Newport; one brother, Michael Foster and Roxanne McIntosh of Thida; three sisters, Danna Kay Mejia of Bald knob, Donna Sparks and husband Jerry of Rainbow City, Alabama, and Sherry Kersey and husband Mark of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Nick Page, Debra Wood, Kati Lewis, Ronnie Foster, Sammy Foster, and Dakota Johnson; two great grandchildren, Trace Wood, and Garrett Wood; several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Prime, Terry Luster, Cletus Moss, Phillip Foster Jr., Travis Foster, and Gene Ozier.
Family and friends may gather from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Coffeyville Cemetery for visitation Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow.
