Habbo H. "Dutch" Kloek, 66, County Route 46, died Sunday evening at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he had been a patient for a week.

Mr. Kloek was a mechanic and owned and operated Dutch's Auto in Congers for many years.

Born March 10, 1939, in Holland, son of Goshen and Elizabeth Kloek, he immigrated to the United States at the age of 7 and attended school in Wyckoff, N.J. He served in the Army and was stationed at Camp Drum, now Fort Drum.

He married Barbara Jean Fulton in 1957. The Kloeks lived in Congers from 1969 until Mrs. Kloek died in November 1989. Mr. Kloek moved to the Watertown area in 1990.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and boating and was a member of the Watertown Eagles Club.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Rasmussen, Watertown, and Kimberly Toto, New Windsor; two brothers, Gerald, Watertown, and Timothy, New City; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
