Raymond T. Millin, 85, of 15 Sweet Fern Drive, a salesman of precious metals for the former Edward N. Cook Plate Co., Providence, for 28 years before retiring in 1975, died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Madeline Gross (Fenner) Millin. His first wife was the late Marion Clemence (Olney) Millin.
Born in Bath, Maine, a son of the late John S. and Gertrude (Tuttle) Millin, he lived in Providence before moving to Cranston in 1965.
Mr. Millin was a member of St. John's Lodge 1, F & AM, Providence, the Scottish Rite, Valley of Providence, the Palestine Temple Shrine, Cranston, and was treasurer-emeritus of the artisan unit of the temple, and a member of the 100 Club.
He was also a member of the Marhaba Shrine Club. He had been treasurer of the former Roger Williams Baptist Church, Providence, and was a member of Phillips Memorial Baptist Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, a daughter, and six grandchildren. His stepmother was the late Jane E. (Wilkinson) Millin.
