Roberta Lynn Roberts, 59, of Alaska and formerly of Tama, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Alaska in an automobile accident.

Traditional Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama with Michael Keahna as speaker. A Traditional Wake will be held Monday evening, July 31, 2017 at the Fox Clan Ceremonial Building on the settlement.

Roberta was born on October 8, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Elmer and Mae (Keahna) Roberts.

She attended South Tama Schools.

Roberta was one of the Meskwaki Powwow princesses and she loved coming back to Iowa to visit family. She enjoyed soap operas and taking care of her family.

Survivors include her children, Keshena Lonewolf, Tonchee Lonewolf, Tylene Lonewolf, Charles William Lonewolf Jr., Dello Lonewolf, and Rayme Lonewolf; several grandchildren; three siblings, Gordon, Elmer, and Llwellyn Roberts; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ray Roberts, and Wilson Roberts.
