Carol was born at Olla, LA on February 26, 1941 and passed from this life on Thursday August 24, 2017 at the Haven Nursing Center in Columbia following a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was a 1963 graduate of Acadian Baptist Academy in Eunice, LA. She had a great memory for family geneology, a warm sense of humor, and was a wonderful caretaker and daughter to her parents. Carol's favorite things to do were attending church, reading, visiting the Olla Library daily to visit with Christy, and gathering at the Dixie Center with her friends.
She is survived by many first cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Gladys Hatten Randall, her sister Shirley Ann Randall, and her grandparents Clifton and Lottie Randall, Sam and Rosa Noble Hatten Grimmett, and Monroe Hatten. Carol loved children and requests that any planned memorials be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. .
