It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph "Joe" Cline, Jr. announces his passing on August 18, 2017. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Joe was born in Carmel, Ca. to Joseph F. Cline, Sr. and De Etta E. Gilkey on June 14, 1920. He enlisted into the Army Air Forces in 1943 to 1946 which he was a mechanic for the 346th bomb group in WWII. He met Mildred L. Burdick in 1943 and they were married in July of 1944. After coming home from the war, Joe was a truck driver for Hitchcock trucking and Cain Trucking, Inc.

Joe was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Joe is preceded in death by his father Joseph F. Cline, Sr., mother De Etta E. Cline, wife Mildred L. Cline and grandson Carl Morehouse. Joe is survived by his daughter Karen Santos of Exeter, Ca. granddaughters Marilyn Hastings of Porterville, Ca. and Lisa Morehouse of Tulare, Ca. Great Grandsons Michael Harris of Richland Hills, Tx. Brian Hastings of Exeter, Ca. Cameron Hastings of Woodlake, Ca. and his great-great grandson Cameron Joshua Hastings of Woodlake, Ca.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Smith Family Chapel, Exeter.
