Jerry Dale McVay, 75, of Wauchula, FL, passed away in Winter Haven on Sunday, July 16, 2017. He was born on April 6, 1942 in Atkins, Arkansas. Jerry came to Hardee county 38 years ago from Fort Meade, Fl. He worked as a Laborer in the Citrus industry.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Father Hubert Garner McVay and mother Etta Mae Baker
He is survived by his loving wife Jane Carolyn McVay of Wauchula, Fl. Sons Dewayne McVay of Winter Haven, Fl. Steve McVay of Lake Placid, Tony McVay of Sebring, Fl. Joey McVay of Sebring Fl., Brother Jimmy McVay of Missouri, Sisters Shirley McVay of Illinois and Donna McVay of Illinois.
he also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
