He was born April 16, 1934, in Irondale, the son of the late John and Vivian (Silverthorn) Cline. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Sinnett and Virginia Cline; and two brothers: Paul and Jack Cline.
Keith graduated from Irondale High School in 1952 and attended Kent State University for two years, earning an associate degree in accounting. He worked as a credit supervisor for several financial institutions before retiring. Keith served in the United States Army in Alaska during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the John Knox Presbyterian Church in Canton where he served as an elder, and he later attended church in Keller, Texas after moving there. He was a member of the Jenkins Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in Irondale and enjoyed membership in the Hall of Fame Club.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce (Perkins) Cline, whom he married June 19, 1954; one daughter: Terri (John Thomas) Weaver of Keller, TX; two sons: Jim (Darlene) Cline of Friendswood, TX and Keith (Stephanie) Cline, Jr. of Southlake, TX; one sister, Joanne Saltsman of Hammondsville; and one brother, Kent Cline of Grayslake, IL. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Tonya (David) Snider, Tara (Chris) Shane, Regena Vestal, Evan Cline, Brandon Cline, Logan Cline, Lauren Cline, Jessica (Chris) Schwartz, and Holly (Lance) Wroblewski; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 28, 2017, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Crowe of the Irondale United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Highlandtown Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Tri-State Burial Group.
Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
