The funeral of Mrs. Mary Ashley Norwood, widow of the late J.M. Norwood, who died last Thursday at her home in this city, was held from the family residence, No. 407 Eddy street, yesterday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Wallace E. Brown officiating. Service was also held at the M.E. church in Slaterville Springs at 1 o’clock, the Rev. I.B. Wilson of that place having charge. Interment was made in the family plot in the cemetery at that place.
The pallbearers were three sons and a son-in-law of the deceased, Jesse, William and Henry Norwood, and F.J. Robinson of New York.
