Bobby Cam Holt, 85, of Fulton, was called to be with his Lord Jesus whom he served faithfully, on Saturday, September 24, 2016, while at his home, surrounded by loving family. He was born on August 3, 1931 in Callaway County, the son of the late Paul Holt and the late Ethel (Blythe) Holt. For 61 years bon was married and she survives him. Bob proudly served his county in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He worked for Fulton Public Schools where he taught metal trades. Bob also worked over 10 years for A. P. Green in Fulton before retiring from there. He was a Cub Scout leader and a member of Fulton Breakfast Optimists. First and foremost, Bob was a man of strong faith and commitment to sharing the Gospel of Christ. His zeal to witness and present the plan of salvation with others never waned. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fulton where he served, among many roles, as Chairman of the Deacons and Trustees. He was a Truckstop Ministry Chaplain and leader for more than 30 years, lead the Prison Ministry Fellowship for 20 years, and worked in the Bus Ministry. He participated in foreign mission trips as well, including several trips to Haiti, and Chile. His dedication to serving others and his community lead him to being recognized as Volunteer of the Month by the national Prison Fellowship organization. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, P.G., Ray, and Donald Holt; sisters, Ruby Marshall and Martha Morris; brothers-in-law, Walter Marshall, James Morris, and Walter "Bud" Mirts; and sisters-in-law, Mildred, Phyllis, and Bonnie Holt.
