Phyllis A. Hunt

Phyllis A. Hunt passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 86.
She was born March 22, 1931 to parents John & Irene (Chambers) Dughman in Galion. Phyllis graduated from Madison High School with the class of 1949, and married Mr Hunt not long after on July 2, 1954; they shared 63 wonderful years together.
Phyllis was very active and longtime member of Chapel Hill UMC and was also a founding member of Ontario Christian Church. She enjoyed spending 11 winters in Ft. Myers, Florida and tending to her gardens. There was not a single weed that Phyllis would not pull.
She is survived by her husband, a son, a daughter, a grandson, step-grandchildren, niece, nephews, and other extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Donald Dughman and Paul Dughman.
