Jeanne “Mikaela” Garner, age 19, passed away in Pocatello, Wednesday, August 23, 2017.

She was born November 2, 1997 in Rexburg, Idaho a daughter to Travis Garner and Elizabeth Serrano Garner. She was raised in the Rigby area and graduated from Rigby High School.

She worked at Sonic in Idaho Falls, Red Lion in Pocatello, Metal Man in Rigby and Convergy’s in Pocatello. She was a member of the LDS church. She enjoyed being with her daughter and family, camping, fishing and being outdoors. She always saw the good in people and a friend to everyone. Her brothers adored her.

She is survived by her parents Travis Garner of Rigby and Elizabeth Garner of Pocatello, a daughter Kinsley Grace Papasan of Pocatello, three brothers, Bobby Garner of Rigby, Brody Garner and Kaleb Garner both of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Graciela Serrano-Arevalo, Jack and Faye Chiles, Willis and Nellis Garner and DeMont Crystal.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rigby 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 364 North 4100 East, Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends, Sunday August 27, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
