Bruce Eugene McConnell, 63, of Taylorville passed away at 2:45p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Meadow Manor Nursing Home in Taylorville. He was born on June 14, 1954 in Taylorville, the son of Ray Eugene and Leah (Larimore) McConnell. Over the years Bruce worked as a truck driver and a farm hand. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley.
He is survived by his siblings: Dennis McConnell of Tovey, Nancy Law (Steve) of Taylorville, Dean McConnell (Chrystal Pounds) of Taylorville, and Deon McConnell (Mary) of Taylorville; and several nieces and nephews.
