He is survived by his second wife, Liz, children, Lee, Kari and Jessica, his mother, Helen (Drinkwine) Scherer) Peura, his sisters Helen & Julie. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Scherer and step-father, Karl Peura Sr. Mr. Scherer will be laid to rest later in Oxford Wisconsin.
