They danced all night and shortly after he proposed and they began their new life in the States. She loved the outdoors and learned to drive dump trucks and bulldozers! She loved gardening of flowers and vegetables, taking walks and caring for animals. Joyce and Tom continued to dance and were quite good dancers. They could take over the dance floor and enjoyed every minute of it. Joyce was also very artistic and could draw and paint quite well. Tom and she often created items that they could sell at Flea Markets across East Texas. She loved to find a good bargain. She could walk out of a grocery store with a full basket and after all of her coupons the store paid her!
Joyce was able to visit her home country twice during her life. She enjoyed her trips and learned that her true home was next to her husband wherever he was. She will be missed by her family and not forgotten.
