Elizabeth B. “Betty” Haskell, 81, passed away July 25, 2017 at her home in Aiken, SC.
Betty was born on January 20, 1936 in Mobile, AL. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian Lundy Bastian.
A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Mole Funeral Home of Barnwell is in charge of the arrangements.
She will be truly missed. Heaven has gained a beautiful peacock. She will always be remembered for her love, wisdom, humor, cheerfulness; along with taking in all stray children, while teaching them about life, work, morals, and etiquette. A true and grand southern lady. These words were written by one of the many children she took under her wing, Mrs. Tina Smith.
She is survived by sons; Joseph A. (Bonnie) Frakes, Robert E. (Irma) Frakes,
And Stephen L. (Debbie) Frakes, daughter; Linda S. (Dennis) Conrad, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, step children; Yvonne (Hank) Welch, Karon Haskell, Stacia (Charles) Hill, Tammy Haskell, many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard L. Haskell, daughters, Joanne C. Frakes (51632776) and Lynne Calais (152664565), a grandson Andy Picton (Aron Joseph 'Andy' Picton 10691389) and great grandson, Jacob Frakes (Jacob Bastian Frakes 10691368) .
