Catherine E. Warner

LITITZ Catherine E. Warner, 96, formerly of Spry, died Tuesday morning, November 23, 2004, at Lancshire Hall, Lititz. She was the wife of Stewart H. Warner who died May 19, 1981.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown.

Burial will be in Otterbein United Methodist Cemetery, Spry.

Mrs. Warner was born May 6, 1908, in Glen Rock. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Hengst) Hoffman.

She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Spry and was a very active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Spry Fire Company. Mrs. Warner was a graduate of Thompson Business School and was employed as a secretary for the J.C. Winter Cigar Company in Red Lion for many years prior to her retirement in 1970.

She is survived by nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Goodwill Fire Company, 2318 S. Queen St., York, PA 17403.
