"Allyson A. Hunsley, 39, St. Joseph, formerly of Mound City, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at a St. Joseph hospital.

She was born Sept. 6, 1963 in Los Angeles, Calif., the only child of Glenn and Jaclyn M. Allen Hunsley.

Allyson graduated from Mound City High School in 1981. She had worked at various jobs, mostly in sales. She had lived in St. Joseph for the past several years. She was a member of the Mound City United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Hunsley, and her mother, Jaclyn Wright.

She is survived by her son, Curtis, Oak Grove; stepfather, Don Wright, Mound City; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 14, at Chamberlain Funeral Home, Mound City, with the Rev. Kathleen Schmidtke officiating. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A private family inurnment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association."
