Matthew was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on December 14th, 1965, son of Catherine Virginia Haynes and the late Paul Edward Sullivan. Matthew was a self-employed tree trimmer, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Matthew was survived by his mother, Catherine Haynes of Ferguson, Kentucky; one son, Logan Foster of Somerset, Kentucky; one daughter, Brittany Cook of Somerset, Kentucky; two brothers, LeRoy (and Mamie) Sullivan of Cincinnati, Ohio and David Sullivan of Ferguson, Kentucky; three sisters, Tammy Sullivan of Somerset, Kentucky, Elsie (and Shane) Davis of Ferguson, Kentucky, and Dawn (and Albert) Young of Monticello, Kentucky; three grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Edward Sullivan, who departed this life on April 1st, 2001; and one brother, Richard Daniel “Rick” Sullivan, who departed this life on November 23rd, 2016.
Visitations were held on Friday, August 25th, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 25th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Grave Hill Cemetery.
