Katie Bell (Midkiff) Allen, 80, went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2014. She was born January 10, 1934 to Admiral Dewey and Zenola Lillie (McClure) Midkiff in Alum Creek.

She attended Grace Baptist Temple and was a lifelong resident of St. Albans.
Katie was preceded in death by her husband Billy Allen and her brothers Leo and Junior Midkiff.

She is survived by her sons Terry (Cheryl) and Randy (Wanda); her daughter Lori (Ron) all of St. Albans; her sister Maxine Thomas of Alum Creek.

Her grandchildren are Penny (David) Whaley of Colorado, Amy (Gopal) Kothari, Michael Allen all of Texas, Adam Allen, Roger Allen, Amber (Bart) Atkins, CJ (Samantha) Whitt, and Tiffany (Robbie) Ferrell all of St. Albans.

Her great grandchildren are Christopher Whaley of Japan, Travis, Justin, and Aric Whaley all of Colorado, Madison and Ashton Kothari of Texas, Kaia Allen, Marley and Gavin Whitt, Mackena and Hayden Ferrell all of St. Albans.

Services will be held at Bartlett Chapman Funeral Home on 11:00am Tuesday with the Reverend Walter Allen and Reverend Brian Dean officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd W Charleston WV 25314, with our deepest thanks to Lynese, Melinda, and April.
