Mr. Martin (Marty) Perry was born on September 6, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri to Mr. Eddie Radcliff and Ms. Mattie Perry. Martin was the eighth of nine children.

He attended public school in St. Louis, Missouri and transferred to East St. Louis, Illinois public schools. Martin enlisted in the United States Army for nine years. Martin was a laborer by trade, but had recently completed a Medical Assistant program at Missouri College in April of 2006.

Before Martin's union with Shenandoah Church of Christ of St. Louis, Missouri in 1999, he was a member of Holy Olivette Missionary Baptist Church of East St. Louis, Illinois. On December 28, 1999, Martin married Diane Warren of St. Louis, Missouri and to this union Marjorie De' Anna Perry was born.

Martin was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Eddie Radcliff and one brother, Mr. Arthur (Pei) Perry.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Mrs. Diane Perry; beautiful daughter, Marjorie De' Anna Perry of St. Louis, MO; his mother, Ms. Mattie Perry of Washington Park, IL; five brothers, Mr. Herbert (Rose) Perry of Milwaukee, WI, Mr. Enlor (Mildred) Perry of St. Louis, MO, Mr. Larry (Shariese) Perry of San Diego, CA, Mr. Howard Perry of Atlanta, GA, Mr. Michael Perry of Southern, CA; two sisters, Ms. Earnestine Perry and Ms. Gwendolyn Perry both of Washington Park, IL; a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
